Upcoming NEO Dates:
NEO will be held every Monday morning unless the University is closed for a Monday holiday. Orientation will be held on Tuesday, following the holiday closure. No orientations are held between Christmas and New Years. As always, sessions begin at 8:30 a.m. in the Human Resources conference room. August sessions, because of their high participation, may need to be moved to other locations. For more information, contact Human Resources at 885-3638.

General Information

We congratulate you on your new job and invite you to the University of Idaho New Employee Orientation (NEO). There is paperwork that needs to be completed before your payroll will process. Benefit Orientation, the longer portion of NEO, will assist you with that process and address questions you may have about the different programs and options available to you. NEO begins at 8:30 am on Mondays. Your spouse is also welcome to attend. Dress comfortably.

Location:
Human Resources is located at 415 West 6th Street, behind Taco Time and across the street from Patty's Kitchen. For a parking map of the campus, click here. The Human Resources building is between red parking lots 49 and 50.
Parking:
A parking permit MUST be displayed in order to park on campus, not displaying a permit may result in a citation. Permits specific to new employee orientation have been provided to the Human Resources front desk by Parking and Transportation Services. These permits are free of charge and will allow new employees to park for the orientation only in one of the two red parking lots surrounding the Human Resources Building, until 2pm on the day of orientation. Parking permits for the year can be purchased at Parking and Transportation Services. Parking information will be covered during your orientation. (You can view the Parking Services website at www.uidaho.edu/parking)
Please bring:
- I-9 documentation - page five of this form contains a list of acceptable forms of identification click here
- Beneficiary names, addresses and birth dates for benefit forms
- Your new office location, zip code, and phone number, if known
- Direct deposit of pay requests a voided check for account set-up
