TIAA Optional Life Insurance

This optional benefit is available to all university employees on board appointment half time or greater for 5 months or longer.  Interested employees enroll and pay premiums directly to the carrier to obtain this coverage.  TIAA offers both low-cost term and whole life insurance.

  • Teachers Life Preferred/Annual Renewable Term Life Insurance
  • Teachers Life/5 Year Renewable Term Life Insurance
  • Teachers Life/20 and 30 Year Decreasing Term Life Insurance

Whole life policies

  • Teachers Life/Ordinary Life Insurance
  • Teachers Life/20 Payment Life Insurance
